Culture of Upazilla

Panchlanab is a tradition of the upazila. In the rainy season, people from different parts of the country come to see the bill and travel to the boat. A museum in Chughipur which is not in any other upazila. In Boro season there is a natural landscape of rice production in rice fields. This upazila is now famous for garlic plantation. The famous Mamudpur, Jamai Nagar and Moyapfar jatan of Baiyghat village in the Najirpur union of this upazila are famous Lichchis.

Traditional wetlands of Chalanbil. This bill is the largest in Bangladesh's underground land area. The expansion of eight districts of Rajshahi division with eight upazilas, 60 unions, 1600 villages and 14 rivers. There are also small large water bodies.

Chalanbali is about 13 kilometers wide, width from Tarash to Narayanpur and length up to about 24 kilometers from Singra to Kakika.

   Sirajganj Raiganj Upazila and Chatmohar upazila of Pabna have been included in this bill. On one side, Singra upazila of Natore, Gumani river on the other side. Ostimnisa of Pabna on the south-east of Chalanbali, where the Gumani and Baral rivers are mixed.

   At present, the volume is reduced by 1150 square kilometers. There are a lot of reasons behind the shrinking. In the monsoon season (22.25 million cubic feet), construction of unplanned housing, construction of highway of Sirajganj from Hatikumrul to Natpur in Banarpara upto 55 kilometers of national highway is significant.

   The people of this area have the opinion that the fish is the fish of their crops, and in reality they are. The soil here is fertile. When the bill was dry, the farmers sprout in joy after planting paddy saplings on the fertile soil. They know that they will be filled with a low cost. Not only that, by the end of the rainy season, fishing festival here. As it is, fish is also known as fishery.

   Available here are native fish, gajar, boal, rock, Taki, Tengra, Patasi, Khalse, Baim, Kakala, Chital, Chaila, Ikar and various other kinds of domestic fish. There is a lot of crabs in this huge fish store.

   Junko-pearl trade is becoming a buzz in the area. A lot of pearls were born in the naturally occurring bunch of oyster stomachs. This kind of Nirbha cooked the mussel and mixed the stomach with pearl and handed it over to the big businessmen and gave them to the fish farmers, the mussel meat. They get the exchange value of the drink.
